Michael unveils his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame just outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre (then known as Mann’s Chinese Theatre). Michael never got a chance to give his speech, as 5,000 people came to see him and there was concern a stampede to get near him may occur.
