Michael was on the front cover of Rolling Stone magazine, where he published an open letter to promoter Don King instructing him to not communicate with anyone on behalf of Michael. The letter went further to say that any money made by Michael on the upcoming Victory tour should not be collected by King, and that King should not do anything without Michael’s personal approval.
